Ask each provider to map what will be observed, measured, opened, protected, replaced, demonstrated, and excluded. Separate plumbing from electrical, appliance, drying, cleanup, carpentry, cabinetry, tile, and paint work.
Repair route and access map
File the accepted estimate with signed changes, permit and inspection records, products, final invoice, warranty, and the people responsible for restoration or follow-up.
